Trash Talk, but Make It Helpful: Join Pownal's Spring Roadside Cleanup!
Spring is here—and so is the perfect opportunity to freshen up our roadsides. The Town invites residents to take part in our Springtime Roadside Cleanup, happening over the first two weekends in May.
This community effort helps keep Pownal clean, beautiful, and welcoming as we head into the warmer months. Participants are encouraged to collect roadside litter and recyclables in their neighborhoods and nearby roads.
To make cleanup easy, please place collected trash and recyclables directly into your Casella bins for pickup through Casella’s automated collection system. Using regular curbside collection helps streamline the process and keeps things efficient for everyone.
If using your Casella bin presents any difficulty—or if you have questions about disposal—please don’t hesitate to reach out. The Solid Waste Committee is happy to help.
