Craig Dietrich will present an illustrated talk for the Pownal Scenic and Historical Society about two transformative elections in American history: 1860 (Lincoln) and 1932 (Roosevelt). He will describe the critical issues (Slavery and Depression) as well as life in Pownal and Maine. What were the outcomes? How did Pownal vote? Come and find out! (This talk is NOT about our current election.)
