Select Board

The Town of Pownal operates under a Town Meeting/Select Board form of government.  
 
Our town government is managed by a board of three Select people who serve staggered three-year terms. These elected officials oversee all aspects of the town’s affairs including, budgets, assessing, general assistance, committee work, and more. The Board is supported by a full-time Town Administrator.
 
The Select Board meet at Mallett Hall on Monday evenings beginning at 6:30PM. Please check the Community Calendar for meeting dates.
